dvd rom help

Hey!

I just got a new computer with windows 2000. I have a pioneer dvd-116 dvd rom and it wont read anything except for audio cds. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this. Thanks so much for your help

Something like that happened to me with my Cdrom,it turned out to be the IDE cabel which wasnt plugged in well

 

 

BTW what happened to the spell checker thing

Also check that you have an ASPI layer installed.
