Help with - same vector for two different SCSI ?

Recommended Posts

I am having a odd lagging problem and .. have not yet .. solved it.. so I thought I would see if any one here can make sense of this!

Thanks!

NT claims that it is using the same vector for two different SCSI controllers.

Also here is a sample of a bench test i did..

NOTE C, F,G,H Are the same Hardrive 1 7200 20 gig the read speeds are very low... with the cpu usage..

and D, I, J, K are Hardrive 2 4200 20 gig here the read speed is high.. along with the cpu usage..

Drive C

Read max 273 kB/sec

Read average 133 kB/sec

Read min 77 kB/sec

Write max 3626 kB/sec

Write average 3615 kB/sec

Write min 3575 kB/sec

CPU usage 6 percent

Drive D

Read max 3843 kB/sec

Read average 3778 kB/sec

Read min 3704 kB/sec

Write max 3256 kB/sec

Write average 3239 kB/sec

Write min 3214 kB/sec

CPU usage 99 percent

it is pretty typical for the rest..

Any ideas?
