NT claims that it is using the same vector for two different SCSI controllers. NOTE C, F,G,H Are the same Hardrive 1 7200 20 gig the read speeds are very low... with the cpu usage.. and D, I, J, K are Hardrive 2 4200 20 gig here the read speed is high.. along with the cpu usage.. Drive C Read max 273 kB/sec Read average 133 kB/sec Read min 77 kB/sec Write max 3626 kB/sec Write average 3615 kB/sec Write min 3575 kB/sec CPU usage 6 percent Drive D Read max 3843 kB/sec Read average 3778 kB/sec Read min 3704 kB/sec Write max 3256 kB/sec Write average 3239 kB/sec Write min 3214 kB/sec CPU usage 99 percent it is pretty typical for the rest.. ariel3d 0 Posted May 25, 2001 After crusing this site... more I am now wondering if my troubles are the via driver issues since the system is seeing my ide drives as scsi? any clues? will the 4 in 1 drivers fix this mess? Share this post Link to post
