Greggy 0 Posted May 28, 2001 I'm not sure if this is a known problem, or even if what I want to do is officially supported by Windows 2000, however this is my problem: My main PC uses the MSI 694D (6321) VIA motherboard and runs Windows 2000 SP2 - But the PC refuses to work with a PS2 mouse UNLESS I also have a PS2 keyboard! Trouble is, I want to use my M$ USB keyboard as I like the USB hub for my gamepad etc. I have tried several mouses (including M$ PS2 Intellipoints etc), and the PS2 mouses are detected but upon restarting the device manager reports that the PS2 mouse device could not start! The reason I'm doing this is that I've had a gutful of my M$ Intellieye Explorer Optical mouse, as I believe it to be one of the worst purchases I've ever made. I guess I'll have to go and buy a 'plain' USB mouse. Anyone? Share this post Link to post
