Mark G 0 Posted May 28, 2001 Since fitting a Adaptec 2940U SCSI controller, I am having trouble with the Win2k hibernation feature. What happens is that hibernation works OK 1 time, then when I try next time, it locks at the "preparing to hibernate" screen. I have to switch off at this point. When I next reboot, hibernation then works OK 1 more time... All of my hardware (including the 2940) is on the MS Win2k HCL, and I have tried all SP revisions (no SP, SP1 and SP2). I have tried the default MS driver and also the Adaptec 1.00b driver. Anyone know how to fix this? Share this post Link to post
cuke 0 Posted May 28, 2001 Hi, have you got Nero's 5.5.1.8 on your PC by any chance as this seems to be a common theme with that particular version. I mayself have had to go back to 5.0.4.8, things work perfectly now.... Chris Share this post Link to post
