antareus 0 Posted May 29, 2001 Anyone had any experience with these? PSX controllers are easily the finest available, PC gamepads always seem to feel cheaply designed and lack a good button setup. Do the converters work alright in W2K? Share this post Link to post
ThC 129 0 Posted May 29, 2001 i havent used one myself but ive heard from people they are pretty good. As long as its not too much money i would try it and see. Share this post Link to post
NCalliari 0 Posted May 30, 2001 THEY ARE AWESOME !!! Have two of them, and they work with ALL games. Quite expensive, but as you say if you already have the PSX controllers, they are the BEST controllers ever made!!! IMHO http://www.ccl-uk.net/ Get the Smartjoy 3s as they support Force feedback and work with PS2 controllers as well as PS1. I use a Sony Dualshock and a Hori Fighting Stick (Arcade machine style) to play Mame ( http://www.mameworld.net/ ) games with. They work perfectly. I use Win2K SP2 and DirectX 8.0. Comes with a driver CD for both Win9x and Win2K. Also the drivers are very good. Full graphic of the controller and all the buttons. Also, allows you to test out the force feedback in the control panel. euankirkhope 0 Posted May 31, 2001 yup me got a CCI Smart joy delux, and it rocks. You can also make your own parallel port adaptor which includes force feedback functionalilty. See the details at www.ziplabel.com Share this post Link to post
