INFERNO2000 0 Posted June 3, 2001 A lot of people know this, but the best solution to the SBLive is the Game Theater XP from Hercules Sorry if you wanted -HELP- but that's my reccomendation--I bought the card 4 days ago, and have only the highest regard for it. So... Go to ebay, sell off your Live(you can probably get about 50 for it for the pre-5.1, 80 for the 5.1, and more depending on what level it's at(new, platinum, etc,) Grab a GTXP OEM from newegg.com for 120(you're not missing anything, believe me--the Retail just includes some crappy demos). voila! The only "drawback" is a lack of real DOS support. I think it's time to give up your Doom and Wolfenstein 3d though, or get patches to run it in Windows (WinDOOM, or something) Share this post Link to post
