Guest Posted June 8, 2001 I have partitioned my hard disk into a 2GB (Windows) partition and a 58GB partition. If I highlight all the files in the C: it comes to 1.2 GB, however, if i go to My Computer and check the drive space from there, it says that I only have 139 Mb free ? Is this right ? I used to have this problem quite requalry in Win98 and always ran Error Checker, this gave me back some of the lost space, but it weren't long b4 it happened again. I tried running Error Checker in Win2000 and it says that it doesn't have exculsive rights to the Drive. I made sure nothing was running in the background and all. Any ideas chaps ? EM 0 Posted June 8, 2001 When you say you have highlighted all the files, have you highlighted the hidden system files as well (ie: swap file etc.) That can account for 500 mb. Ed Share this post Link to post
