Go to this web site:

http://www.tvtool.de/index_e.htm

On this site, they have a tool that can be used to tweak the Chronotel TV output used on many nVidia based video cards. The one that I use is TVCC2000, which I got on that site. Basically, when using that tool to activate the TV output, the Macrovision protection, which keeps the TV output from working in all other cases, therefore allowing you to watch your DVD on the TV..

NOW, they ALSO have another tool on that site that is used for one other TV output chipset (Brooktree I think it is). I am not sure if this utility disables the Macrovision , but it's definately worth a shot.

Take a look, can't hurt, and I have had impressive results with my Chronotel TV-out on my Leadtek GeForce 2 GTS.

Hope this helps!!

Ahhh ok, sorry, I didn't realize. Some DVD decoder cards have a TV output device on them. I myself have a Creative dxr2 decoder card, and it has a TV output on it (but I can't use it anymore, I lost the cable!!).. I believe the creative dxr3 card that is currently on the market also has something similiar on it.. You might wanna look into that.

BOYCOTT CREATIVE.

Get a realmagic hollywood+ same decoder card just without the crappy creative name on it. Im sure you can find an OEM version around for pretty cheap.
