mouse problems with master of orion2 and win2k

Does anybody know a work-around for the mouse move problem of the game under win2k ? mouse doesnt work korrekt in some menus (description in comptibility list) does the problem occur on every win2k system ?

I have 2 answers for this... First install the SP2 of win2k, second upgrade your video drivers (especially NVidia) to the lastest version (12.41 I think)

 

The mouse will never freeze again !
