DosFreak 2 Posted June 27, 2001 Yes. But why do you want to corrupt your data further? Share this post Link to post
HELLBRINGER 0 Posted June 27, 2001 It is not corrupted and there is no damage. And a scan disk as ran everyday in Windows on my server. So why have it at start up? It's just a waste of time and quite annoying. How do you turn it off? Share this post Link to post

DigitalDude 0 Posted July 3, 2001 To disable disk checking at startup open the command prompt and type: chkntfs /x C: Replace C with the letter of the drive you don't want windows to check at startup. Use chkntfs /? for more infomation. Hope this helps. Share this post Link to post
