esgeir 0 Posted July 1, 2001 I've talked to a lot of different people, and no one seems to have any idea how to get OpenGL or Glide working with Voodoo3 cards under XP RC1. I've tried the latest Voodoo3 drivers on 3dfx.com (following the FAQ here on NT Compatible didn't help), and the x3dfx drivers... no go for either of them. DirectDraw and Direct3D work fine, but Glide/OpenGL corrupts the display and forces me to reboot. Is there any way to fix this, or is it disabled as part of the OS? TIA. Share this post Link to post
esgeir 0 Posted July 1, 2001 I know this has been asked again. But there's never really been a definite answer, only rumors/supposed information. Could anyone just shed some light on it? Will it work in a later build? Are there some sort of registry tweaks one must do? Share this post Link to post
ThC 129 0 Posted July 1, 2001 Last i read there isnt going to be any 3d support for 3dFX cards in XP due to MS not being able to get the source code to 3dFX drivers so they can't make fully functional drivers. Sorry man Share this post Link to post
