Widow 0 Posted July 19, 2001 While its not possible to use the NT shell for windows 2000, you can make it look like the NT shell by using the following registry tweak. Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer Name: ClassicShell Data Type: REG_DWORD Value: 1 A value of 1 makes it look like the NT4 interface and a value of 0 will be the normal 2000 interface.
