Mr_Q 0 Posted July 12, 2001 Man, I cannot get networking working! I can get on the net and what not. But I cannot get my two XP machines to see each other. Nor can I get my XP machine to see my Win2K machine! They call this an RC release?? My workgoup doesn't show up, and my shares do not show up. What the hell is going on? Share this post Link to post
Seldzar 0 Posted July 12, 2001 Did you use the reset.exe crack? If so then there is the major problem right there. I made a post about a work around for those issues and there is a followup with a method i use now(batch file sharing and mapping of network drives) Go search the hardware forum for it. EM 0 Posted July 12, 2001 I used the reset.exe crack. My three computers all can talk to each other and to the net. Using IPX/SPX to talk to each other and share the printer and TCP/IP to talk to the net. Ed Share this post Link to post
