pmistry 0 Posted July 15, 2001 Is there anyway inside Win95/98/ME/NT/2000 to change the default font for dialog box and Control Panel boxes, etc, you know the fonts that do not appear in title bars or on a icon or as a tool tip, for example go to device manager and look at the text, it is in default MS Sans Serif, I hate this stupid default can I change it? pmistry 0 Posted July 15, 2001 I know but that only changes the fonts on bars and stuff, not text inside boxes and stuff. Like in Device Manager or the text you see when you go to the Run box. Share this post Link to post
Nemesis 1 Posted July 15, 2001 pmistry, If you like to play around and break things in the registry then try these locations: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontMapper] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\GRE_Initialize] Share this post Link to post
