Right now its not so hot with windows because the sound card is one of microns(they modify all their products somewhat to make them special) and windows xp doesn' thave a sound card driver that i can find for it, and both soundblaster/micron say its each others fault for not making an xp driver...i'm thinking about installing fedora on it...anyone suggest it or against it? danleff 0 Posted February 21, 2004 Good question. You are not alone. The soundblaster sound card comes in many flavors, with a number of legacy models. There is a soundblaster module in the kernel, I believe, but whether it will work with your legacy card is the question. There are just to many versions out there.
