win 98 and low 3d scores

I am runnin win 98 and i am gettin a low 3d score

mobo:abit kt7a raid

proceesor:athlon 850

ram:320 megs

video card:nividia geforce 2 mx 64 meg

no sound card

maxtor 8.08gigs

 

vid drivers 12.41

os:win 98

 

when i ran bench mark in xp my scores where close to 6000

 

can anyone help me out please

 

and is there any patches or upgrades for 98

because windows 98 blows and doesn't have the ability (in my opinion) of managing more than 128MB of memory efficiently.
