DtK 0 Posted July 24, 2001 Hi, i've just got winxp and i'm having severe problems with the aforementioned soundcard in winxp. Problems include: Front speakers only Massive sound problems during system strain Distortion of sound I'm running the drivers for win2k that came on the CD (official driverS) on WinXP RC1 (Built 2505). Please if anyone could suggest any fixes i'd be very grateful. I'm very impressed by XP atm, everything runs faster or just as fast with only the soundcard problem now. Some things i've thought of: installing the yamaha reference driver. installing some other driver. umm thats the end of the suggestions Please guys, any help would be appreciated.
