sapiens74 0 Posted July 26, 2001 Seems that the Athlon XP/2000 GF3 Combo has trouble with MAX PAYNE Right click on the MAX PAYNE icon on your desktop, go to properties then the compatibilty tab and select WIN98 and check run in compatility mode. Wolf87 0 Posted July 26, 2001 Type this after Start, Run, to enable compatibility mode with SP2: regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll Max Payne goes back to desktop on Windows 2000 and Geforce 3 with both AMD or Pentium CPUs.
