Do you have to have anything extra to run this? Or just install it and then you can choose it from appearences like the Silver theme?

Nothing extra.You need only XP,then click on enable Windows Blinds XP in start menu and you can choose the theme you like.

I counted 10 themes.

i installed object desktop first

i was under the impression that that was needed but i could be wrong about that.

this build of windowblinds with rc2 works really well

no you dont need object desktop installed. I wouldnt mind it but i can never find a crack or full version of it. If you go to different websites such as www.wincustomise.com or some other sites you can find different WB themes
