Simon Ngan 0 Posted August 2, 2001 I just configured my PC as terminal server (kinda a test at this point) and it's connected to a Domain Controller running NT 4.0. I've configured the server to use IIS so I can login through IE 5.0. It's been working fine but the problem is even normal user can shut down the server. The shut down button is available in START menu. I've been checking but haven't found a place to prevent that. Thanks for your help. Share this post Link to post
peterro 0 Posted August 6, 2001 I don't have a solution to your problem straight out, but what about logonscripts? Try www.kix32.com, a pretty easy but powerful logonscript. U can also go to www.thethin.net, with lots of terminal server stuff. Hope this helps at least a little! Share this post Link to post
NT_Worker 0 Posted August 8, 2001 You can set up group policy to disable the ability for users to shutdown a terminal server. ~NT Worker Share this post Link to post
