JohnnyChangs 0 Posted August 2, 2001 Anyone have a regsistry file to optimize XP for a Cable/DSl connection? I know I can use Tweak-XP or X-Setup, but I would rather not install some 3rd party shareware. Share this post Link to post
Devildog 0 Posted August 6, 2001 Same here. I want to be able to just run a registry edit like in Win2k... Somebody posted in another message to go to WWW.SPEEDGUIDE.NET - well guess what - the Win2k registry patch there simply doesn't do SQUAT.. Has ANYONE figured out how to optimize XP for cable without running TweakXP? HELP! Share this post Link to post
rbduck 0 Posted August 7, 2001 GO to this site. thee is much good information on tweaking DSL. There is also a little program that will remove anything in your registry left from any modems. I used it and greatly increased my downloads. Share this post Link to post
