[CaF]Viper 0 Posted August 5, 2001 Is it possible to overclock a p3 650 to 866mhz without frying it? Or worrying some thing bad will happen!? If so i would be like 8) then like I am running it right now to test but i would like to put the experts to the test i know p3 700 overclocks fine to 933mhz Thx in advance! EddiE314 0 Posted August 5, 2001 as long as your fsb goes high enough, i have a 667 now, but i can only overclock it to 150mhz*5.0=750MHz, it's also a good idea that you have some good pc133 or pc150 ram that will survive the higher bus speeds. make sure you have excellent cooling and a lot of thermal compound.
