Overclocking a P3 650MHZ to 866MHZ is it safe....

Is it possible to overclock a p3 650 to 866mhz without frying it? Or worrying some thing bad will happen!? If so i would be like 8) then like

I am running it right now to test but i would like to put the experts to the test i know p3 700 overclocks fine to 933mhz

It depends. What type of pIII do you have? the classic or the coppermine version? If the coppermine version should be easier and safer to overclock

as long as your fsb goes high enough, i have a 667 now, but i can only overclock it to 150mhz*5.0=750MHz, it's also a good idea that you have some good pc133 or pc150 ram that will survive the higher bus speeds. make sure you have excellent cooling and a lot of thermal compound.

You should check out www.overclockers.com for more info on that. I know that they have a forum just like this one, im sure that someone there can give you some good advise.
