Pythagoras 0 Posted August 11, 2001 One place is in the control panel- Control Panel->Admin. Tools->Services Youll find things that are memory resident, such as norton auto-protect and what not. Share this post Link to post
7 0 Posted August 11, 2001 One way to do it is to install the version of msconfig from Win ME. Simply copy it to the winnt directory of your Win 2K machine and reboot. It works perfectly under Win 2K Professional. Share this post Link to post
AndyFair 0 Posted August 11, 2001 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that both the SETI startup and the Office startup files both live in the Startup area of the start button. Delete the shortcuts from \Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup Saves all the nasty mess with the registry 8) AndyF Share this post Link to post
