DremNeonBlack 0 Posted August 13, 2001 Since the nvidia refreshrate fix program doesn´t work with XP is there any way of manually manipulate the refreshrates through the registry? Share this post Link to post
Brian Frank 0 Posted August 13, 2001 I wasn't aware you needed that fix. Could be wrong tho... Share this post Link to post
EJ 0 Posted August 14, 2001 You can get the refresh rate program to work as long as you run it in Win 2000 compat mode. Share this post Link to post
FadedTimes 0 Posted August 14, 2001 You can also run power strip, but I just ran the refresh rate fix exe with win2k comp. Share this post Link to post
DremNeonBlack 0 Posted August 14, 2001 Installing in win2000 compability mode worked great. Thanks for the tip! Share this post Link to post
EddiE314 0 Posted August 14, 2001 why don't you just edit your nv4_disp.inf file, do a search for it somewhere, you'll find out what i mean. Share this post Link to post
DremNeonBlack 0 Posted August 15, 2001 EddiE314: I would have done that if nothing else worked, but since the nvrefreshfix installed fine and all games run at good refreshrates all is good. I also manipulated the registry and took out those unwanted refreshrates, and this way also works good I think. Share this post Link to post
