trippin 0 Posted August 18, 2001 is there any way to install a driver for a polariod colorshot printer under windows xp? it tells me that the driver is not compattable with windows xp, is there a way to trick the installer to think it is running under win 9x, or a way to change the driver file so i can use it, there are no current and will not be any drivers made for windows xp or windows 2000 for this printer, it is only made to work under win 95 or 98, please help, is there a way to write a driver file, or convert the win 98 one i have? DosFreak 2 Posted August 18, 2001 It may be possibile to run Connectix VPC under 2000 and then the printer might work.....but I'm not sure on that. The compatibility option will not work. Those are hacks that redirect calls an application makes for something. You need a drivers that actually tells NT how to use the printer. Share this post Link to post
