reversing_drive 0 Posted August 20, 2001 Considering Service Packs can be slipstreamed back onto a Win2K CD, i'm curious, could the same be done with IE5.5 and in the future maybe IE6 That would be cool And hey, it would be typically Micro$oft anyway, keeping the dominance in the Browser field. DosFreak 2 Posted August 20, 2001 Microsoft stopped including new programs in theit SP's since SP3 of NT4. You can try to splice & dice the files if you want or you can use sysprep and have IE5.5 run at the end of 2k setup....which pretty much does what you would do manually anyway. ZoSo 0 Posted August 23, 2001 What's sysprep? and how does it work? Sounds like it would work great for installing IE5.5/6 and DX8 and maybe a couple other small progs. Share this post Link to post
