visual studio 6

Does anyone know how to get VS 6 installed on an XP machine (RC2)

 

I tried it and hung during setup.

 

I know beta2 of VS.net works but for some compatibility issues I need VS6 installed so I could use a little help.

 

If anyone successfully installed it, please let me know.

I installed it on RC2 with no problems. Everything seems to be working fine...

i am using vs.net but a friend of mine installed vs 6.0 on winxp rc2 with no problem...

 

sorry i have no suggestion...

 

where exactly do you encounter your problem?
