JBoDEAN 0 Posted August 24, 2001 When I go into my Network and Dial Up connections, it says my current Local Area Connection #4. When I assign my NIC an ip and dns number, it warns me that a pervious device (my old 3com nic card, that has been removed from the system) has the same values, and if both are running, could conflict. It says that the 3com device is hidden due to not being active. How do I get rid of all this "hidden" stuff? There must be 3 hidden items, if my box says "Local Area Connection #4".
