htwild1 0 Posted August 28, 2001 Some of you experts can help me? I have installed win2k on my pc. The installation went fine, I ghosted the drive onto my raid. Every time I install a new software, i.e., windows media player 7.1, and reboot according to instructions, the pc rebooted and gave me an error: c000000026c - Unable to load device drivers at c:\winnt\system32\win32k.sys, error code x000000221. I repaired the installation using the CD and it worked again. Then the next go around, it happened again. I have everything working last night, went thru the proper shutdown procedure, this morning, the same error showed up again. Is there something that prevent win2k from properly loading? Or my original installation was not done correctly? I went thru this ordeal for 2 weeks now.
