iks 0 Posted August 30, 2001 Hello. I heard somewhere that Microsoft DirectX 8.1 for Windows 2000 is out... - Where can I get it? I cant find it on site www.microsoft.com/directx... - Is it good to be installed on my Windows XP RC2? - Do I still have to install "Video Capture Update for DirectX 8.0" over it (I am owner of Hauppauge WinTV Video capture device)? Bursar 0 Posted August 30, 2001 It's not offcially out, so DX8.0a is still the latest version you can download from the MS site. There are some websites that carry the 8.1 beta, but use it at your own risk. Some people have reported compatibility problems with a few games. Share this post Link to post
