Moonark 0 Posted September 1, 2001 I upgraded from Win2K to XP and on the machine that I upgraded C$ workds fine. I set XP on my roommates machine and C$ does not work. He can connect to mine and it prompts him to enter a username and a password. When I try to connect to his, it wants me to log on as guest. I changed the settings in the local security policy, but it still will not let me on...it keeps asking me to log on as guest. Does anyone know all the settings for which I should change? I referred to the other post in the forum regarding C$ and SAMBA shares and I got the local security policy from there. I think I am missing something somewhere, but I am not sure.
