NaughtyNu 0 Posted October 4, 2001 I have a good question about defragging and Windows XP. Everytime I use the built in XP defragger (Diskeeper 6 right?) my XP is so bogged down with the hds constantly chugging away at something yet my 98SE (I'm dual booting) runs better. It chugs so bad that the only thing I can do to fix it that I know of is to format the XP partition. Why does defragging my HDs make XP chug? They're all using Fat32 Share this post Link to post
