Ant -|- One 0 Posted September 5, 2001 Hi ! I'd like to know what cB0 really means in terms of performance and overclockability ? I've read numerous times how much this stepping is appreciated, but without real hint on what it means... Explanations welcome ! Share this post Link to post
Brian Frank 0 Posted September 5, 2001 It's the coppermine core, 4th revision of the die. If you're going dual, save yerself a whole hell in itself and just buy two new ones. As for overclockability, the cD0's will probably be better then cB0's. However, it depends on which CPU you have, some OC better than others. Share this post Link to post
Down8 0 Posted September 8, 2001 Not actualy 'help', but I can tell you that my cB0 500E can get to 750MHz fine [5x150]. At which point, my RAM starts to take a crap, and I get a little bit of system instability, so I run at 700MHz. -bZj Share this post Link to post
