Dzian 0 Posted September 10, 2001 I can´t burn anything in XP, both CDRWIN 4.0a and WinOnCD 3.8 dont work. CDRWIN gives this msg when entering: "Error: Unable to initialize the ASPI manager. ASPI Manager not found on your computer" but lets go on, when trying to record I get the msg that "no CDROM recording device was found on the IDE or SCSI bus". As for WinOnCD, it gives the error msg: "This installation package coudl not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package" Any ideas or solutions? Thanks for anything Share this post Link to post
FatFish 0 Posted September 11, 2001 http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Files/forceaspi17.rar download it and install it, so that you will have the ASPI layer without installing EZCD Creator. Share this post Link to post

Dzian 0 Posted September 11, 2001 Already solved the problem in CDRWIN by installing some ASPI layer for win2k, that was located in the download area of CDRWIN's site at www.goldenhawk.com . As for WinOnCD the problem remains, the installer refuses to run, and I don't have a clue why... ;( Share this post Link to post
