games going to fast

I have tried to play half-life but am unable to since, the game just speed right through. I dont know if it is Drivers or what. Other games such as DiabloII, Black and White and UT run perfectly fine. I'm using WickedGL drivers since I have a voodoo3 2000 pci. Yes I know pci sucks. Can you please help me.

alright i have the latest patch, and it still does that. I'm using wickedgl drivers, also i cannot connect to any games, it says i'm missing some ipx or something like that.

Check this old post, if you got that mobo then it should apply to you

 

It took me over a week to figure it out so I now about the frustation...

Well I saw the post and thats not the problem, Windows2000 shows my cpu speed as 450mhz.
