Baldurs Gate 2: TOB crashes back to desktop FREQUENTLY! Any

I am running build 2600 corporate.

I tried running the .exe is win2k compatibility mode but still crashes

I've played it on XP with no problems at all.

 

Also what hardware/drivers? Crashing back to the desktop sounds suspiciously like a video driver problem...?

Have you applied latest patch? Try switching to software rendering mode? this game work fine for me too.
