In this review we examined the performance of the 0.13micron Pentium III-S processor built on the new Tualatin core with 512KB L2 cache. We tried to figure out if the Pentium 4 family was so necessary for Intel or if the development of Pentium III Tualatin family could save Intel time and trouble in the mainstream and performance sectors.
