reversing_drive 0 Posted September 18, 2001 Since upgrading to IE6 i am unable to 'right-click' hyperlinks and select 'Save Target as..' This is quit annoying since if i want to save .doc, .pdf, .ppt, ect... I have to open them first in the browser then 'File' -> 'Save As' Anyone else have this problem?? Are there any settings that need to be changed? Yeah cos' it worked fine in IE5.5 SP2, Though since upgrading to IE6 the option is "Greyed out" Help Appreciated, Cheers. Share this post Link to post
Pythagoras 0 Posted September 18, 2001 It seems at least with the links on this page the option is there, 3rd from the top under "Open in New Window." Share this post Link to post
reversing_drive 0 Posted September 21, 2001 Oh well... I am still unable to "Save Target As.." in IE6, the option has never been active in the last two weeks or so, I was a real fan of saving files corresponding with hyperlinks without First have to sit and whatch the thing load, the Save from 'File Menu' ;( However i have managed to find an allternative, Download Accelerator has right click function for links, "Download with DAP" But i prefer 'save target as', it's quicker and you easily select where you want to save the file. So if it is just some lousy option in IE that needs changing i would really appreciate knowing that. Cheers, Share this post Link to post
