Trouble with Wofenstein Demo

Recommended Posts

Downloaded the new multiplayer demo of Return to Wolfenstein Castle, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be running for me under Win XP. mad I'm running the Win XP Pro final, and it seems OpenGL is to blame, so I figured I'd post here and see if anyone more knowledgeable about openGL could help. smile I'm using a Voodoo 3 card and the default drivers that Win XP installed. Here's the message the console is giving me before quiting:

It works fine for me. Did you install new drivers? The ones that ship with XP dont support OpenGL. Get the new Det 4's.

Your problem is that the Voodoo drivers included in XP don't include supprt for OpenGL. Hope for some divers that do, or get a different video card.

Yeah I overlooked his card on accident. I assumed he had a OpenGL card. His problem is common with people who have GeForces and try to play OpenGL games, since the default drivers XP installs dont support OpenGL.

Get newer drivers for XP, dont use the ones that it installs for you.

Found new drivers, searched the NT Compatible news and found a batch that someone put together from earlier releases that supports OpenGL.
