Philipp 6 Posted September 21, 2001 VIA Hardware has posted a round-up on the first batch of VIA P4X based motherboards. Boards tested in this round up include P4X266 boards from Acorp, Azza, Shuttle, and VIA´s reference board. Some of these brave and/or desperate manufacturers are represented here today, in the first VIA Apollo P4X266 motherboard roundup. Present and accounted for are ACorp, Azza, and Shuttle. Other P4X266 boards will soon be available from AOpen, Chaintech, ECS, and Tyan. Of course, many other P4X266 boards have finished development, but the manufacturers of these boards have far too much invested in i845 development to risk Intel´s pricing and supply wrath.
