JP- 0 Posted September 23, 2001 my computer -> right click on your hard drive -> select properties -> Tools tab -> click 'check now' and then start, if it says it cant do it and would you like to schedule it for the next time windows starts just say yes and it will do it during the next boot. ghayes 0 Posted September 24, 2001 The "scandisk" that is done through the GUI is the same CHKDSK that can be done from the command line. Running CHKDSK from the command gives you some options that the GUI interface doesn't allow. - Greg/Raxco Software Share this post Link to post
