JakesDad 0 Posted September 24, 2001 I've got One computer with XP that I'm trying to network with the kids computer 98se. Problem is I can't see the other computer on either machine. I have two nic cards in the XP machine one for dsl and one for lan. no conflics anywhere I just can't see either computer. I know they are seeing each other, when I'm on the XP machine and I shut the 98 machine down it shows cable is unplugged on my machine... I have not networked a lot but I had the same two machine networked with 98se. Not sure what all info you might need but if you tell me I can get it.. Thanks for any help JakesDad P.S. I wan't to use the ICS but when I try to enable it I get: an error occurred while internet connection sharing was being enabled. The system cannot find the file specified.
