goatse.cx 0 Posted September 28, 2001 The digital out on the back of the OEM version of a Sound Blaster Live! or Audigy requires a proprietary cable from Creative Labs, which to my knowledge will only work with Creative's linup of Cabridge Soundworks speaker systems. Yes, Creative still sucks, even if the Audigy rocks. You'll need a livedrive to get real digital out. Share this post Link to post
Seldzar 0 Posted September 28, 2001 Sorry goatse.cx creative MAY have their own cable but you do NOT need it. I just use a standard 1/8 inch stereo headphone connector that splits into a left and right coax(rca) cable and checked to see whether left or right was carrying the signal to my 5.1 speakers with Dolby Digital decoder box. Plugged in the side with the signal and i'm off to the races. This works on my Sblive value and my Audigy. Share this post Link to post
