Dogers 0 Posted September 30, 2001 Got three phone lines, three modems, and a decent system setup with 2k advanced server.. What id like to do, is setup all three lines to go into the server and have them routed for the lan the server is on.. The routing and remote access service in adv serv doesnt seem have any way of doing this (at least to my untrained eyes ) so can it be done with the vanilla install, or would other software be needed/better ? We originally used WinRoute Pro when we only had one line and that was incredibly simple to setup Any ideas on how to do this? Share this post Link to post
FatFish 0 Posted September 30, 2001 Setup a Remote and Routing server at the computer that you have the modem and phoneline installed. and then setup dialup server.. then go to user.. and config Dial-in permission.. then the dialed-in computer should act as a PC in the LAN... Not sure if this is what you want... Share this post Link to post
Dogers 0 Posted September 30, 2001 no, thats not what im after unfortunately.. Theres already a lan, and the server is currently using one line on demand dialling up the net and allowing users on the lan to access the net.. What im after is the same thing but using all three modems shared for the network Share this post Link to post
Xiven 0 Posted September 30, 2001 It's definitely possible, although I really don't know any details. Do a search on www.google.com for "Multi-link PPP" and you may find some info... Share this post Link to post
