Brian Frank 0 Posted October 3, 2001 You hit 'Set' didn't you? Also, if you set a dinky page file, I could see that being a problem if you don't have enough RAM. I use a static size for my pagefile, and use whatever Win2k is suggesting, like 500-something megs or so. Share this post Link to post

python134r 0 Posted October 14, 2001 I dont know if this is relavent but I did have that problem some time ago. I now have 768 Mb of sdram and I disabled executive paging to see if I would have a performance gain and it was marginal so I then completely disabled my page file = none. This can only be done if you have a considerable amount of ram. Results were that I had a major performance gain and no ill results as of the last 2 weeks. Share this post Link to post
