Fireman 0 Posted October 4, 2001 Hi there, Two quick questions for the pro's here: Is it necessary to install a ASPI-Layer to WinXP? Is there already a working soloution to get WinOnCD 3.8 PE running under WinXP? Thanks in advance for your help and greetings from Vienna! Share this post Link to post
Palos 0 Posted October 4, 2001 Nero 5.5.4.0 works without any layers on XP, probably the new version as well (5551). WinOnCD does not like XP at all, I dont think there is anyone who got it working. CDRWin and Fireburner work only after installing an ASPI layer. Any more questions? Share this post Link to post
AndyFair 0 Posted October 5, 2001 Nero uses it's own ASPI layer (it stores a copy of wnaspi32.dll in the install directory). I've heard tell that WinOnCD and CDRWin will work if you copy this file into their respective install directories. AndyF Share this post Link to post
