Philipp 6 Posted October 5, 2001 Slautech has posted a review on the CPUFX ALUV2 Fan Adaptor The ALUV2 is slightly shorter than most fan adaptors that I´ve seen - 0.75" (19mm) as opposed to the Plycon fan adaptor height of 1.5" (35mm). This could either be a bad thing or a good thing - Because the height is lower, there isn´t so much force on your CPU socket (Remember levers in physics lessons?), which is obviously good. But then it might be bad for airflow since I read somewhere that if the area through which the air travels through narrows suddenly, the airflow will be adversely affected. The inner sides of the ALUV2 aren´t as deep as other fan adaptors, so I´ll keep an eye on how this affects the results. Read more Share this post Link to post
