salomao 0 Posted October 5, 2001 There is no way I can Play games under XP I tried two games - stupid invaders (graphic adventure) - fifa 2001 When I try to run the games the window goes black (as if the game will start) and some times ther is sound but imediately that window closes (still remaining in the task bar) and the game won't run. In fifa2001, for exemple, the black screen "shakes" a little (as if windows is searching for the best screan resolution) but then the same happens and I return to windows... I tried all the compatibility settings but didn't succeed :-( My graphics card is a MSI Geforce 2 MX. I tried the Detonator drivers found in this site (available also at MSIcomputer.com) but still no luck... What can I do??? Please Help me Share this post Link to post
Xiven 0 Posted October 5, 2001 Found this in the NT Compatible game compatibility list: Stupid Invaders (UbiSoft) No W2000 10/01 Without the patch it crashes near the beginning. With the patch it crashes half way through the game. http://ubisoft.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/ubis...eated=983568794 As an aside, it took a while to find that in the list - yeah sure I could have used "Find (on this page)...", but surely the lists should at least be in alphabetical order anway?
